Dental Implants at our Wadebridge dental practice have a proven success rate. Our experience, coupled with state-of-the-art dental technology, achieves an excellent result, with patients delighted by their new found comfort and confidence.
Dental implants look and feel like normal teeth. As close to a natural tooth as we can get, implants are permanent and fixed rather than removable like a denture. We can replace missing teeth without affecting the neighbouring teeth, keeping the procedure as straightforward as possible.
Dental implants offer a natural-looking and permanent solution to missing or damaged teeth. They are titanium screws which are fitted into the jawbone, taking the place of the natural tooth root. An extension is put over the implant, and a crown, bridge or denture fitted over it. The result is a beautiful, natural smile without the embarrassment of gaps or loose dentures.
Dental implants are used to replace missing or damaged teeth (and in some cases, all of them). They can also be used to hold loose dentures in place.
If looked after they are an investment that could last the rest of your life!
“I was concerned about the treatment being painful, My dentist talked me through the process, answering any questions and putting me at ease. I can honestly say there was no pain.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I have wonderful service and would recommend the process and in particular No.65 to anyone.”
At No.65 we offer patients a full range of implant options:
Placement, grafting, basic temporary tooth and the final tooth
Placement, grafting, basic temporary tooth and the final set of teeth
Stop your dentures moving
Crowns, bridges or dentures can be attached to the implant.
We use several different implant systems, which are recognised as being the best on the market. They have predictable results, and long-term success studies have been carried out for over fifteen years. The entire dental implant procedure takes place at No.65 in Wadebridge, Cornwall.
Bone grafting can be performed where there are bone deficiencies or where bone manipulation is necessary to place an implant successfully. For some patients, there may not be sufficient bone to support the dental implant. Special materials can be inserted to encourage bone re-growth and “lift” the sinus. Over time, the bone will re-grow, providing enough bone to support the implant.
