Does No65 use invisible braces?

As well as cosmetic and general dentistry, we also carry out orthodontic work. Orthodontics is the term used for treatment to straighten or move teeth, to improve how good the teeth look and how well they work. Treatment is most commonly carried out through the use of 'braces'.

Thanks to modern technology we offer two excellent 'invisible' brace systems, Clear Step and the Inman Aligner.

Are invisible braces truly invisible?

A whole generation of adults who were cemented into "train tracks" will not believe this - but yes, they are. Orthodontic technology has really moved on, and we are delighted to offer the "Clear Step" system. As well as being invisible, a Clear Step brace is extremely comfortable (remember "brace wax"? That, too, could be a thing of the past). Unlike "train tracks", Clear Step braces are removable, for easy brushing, flossing and eating.

As well as removing the stigma from the next generation of brace-wearers, invisible braces have resulted in many adults embracing orthodontics for the first time, confident in the knowledge that their treatment will be discreet.

What is the Inman Aligner technique? Is the Inman Aligner technique available in Cornwall?

The Inman Aligner technique is similar to Clear Step in that it is a discreet method of straightening teeth.

The results can be astonishingly quick: previously crooked front teeth can be straight in as little as 6-16 weeks. Like Clear Step, it is removable, so the speed and efficacy depends on how many hours a day the patient wears it: up to 20 hours a day is recommended - a long day, but still far, far superior to the old-fashioned fixed system.
