What is cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry is the use of dental techniques to improve the aesthetic appearance and function of a person's teeth.

That's the formal definition. However, we see it as far more than that. Cosmetic dentistry is about confidence. It's about feeling and looking great. It's about being able to express yourself through a happy, confident smile.

Dentistry has moved on since the days of filling and drilling and extracting teeth. These days, many people turn to cosmetic dentistry or "aesthetic dentistry" as it is also known, as a way of improving their appearance, much as we change our hair style and colour, or even have cosmetic surgery.
